Sometimes being creative is a bonus. One youngster needed a bag to keep his adaptive devices (he’s autistic) in. Needing to carry them from room to room, I made a drawstring backpack bag. Using space themed cotton fabric and lining the inside with contrasting fabric. It’s working out great keeping everything handy and easy to transport.

Back to school Bags
As kids head back to school, there nothing “cooler” than having a bag that draws attention! I’ve been stitching up a few bags for one of my favorite kids. One I just finished was for his afternoon snack made of thick felt material with a needle felted school mascot (the tiger) and an hand-stitched embroidered label. There’s a antique button closure on the back. It’s the hit of his class!

Wish you could leave the sand at the beach?
Shoreline Bag – a lace effect bag, made from crocheted natural twine.
The bag is perfect for a beach towel or two, sunscreen, and water with a shoulder strap. Whether you are going to the beach or poll, it’s a great solution! The base is stitched in a smaller design so items don’t fall out, but allows sand to not be carried home. This bag can get wet with no worries and has a flexible shape.

Persian pickles Handbag
Inspired from paisley patterns (Persian pickles), this handbag will draw attention to anyone daring enough to show it off. Contrasting colors were used to pull out the beauty of the shapes. Each decorative detail was needle felted to allow the design to make a statement.
The purse is made of black wool with cloth lining inside. Works great as a catch all bag for small items. Fits a wallet, keys, and cell phone comfortably inside.
