Ravi Beanie and Scarf

Inspired by my nephew who doesn’t keep hats on his head, this crochet pattern works great. Simple stitches for beginners, tweens and teens. Keeping his little head and neck warmer in the winter is important so having something he will wear great. The yarn is soft and stretches easily.  This pattern stitches up fast!!

: Crochet
Yarns suggested: Lion Brand Homespun
Yarn weight: Bulky / 12 ply (7 wpi)
Gauge: 4 stitches and 3 rows = 2 inches in half double crochet
Hook size: 6.0 mm (J)
Sizes available: Hat: 7 ½” diameter & 5 ½“ tall Scarf: 50” x 2”

With window’s drafting in winter weather and attempts at heating large rooms with cubicle’s:  keeping warm at the office can be hard to do. Anything that keeps you within the dress-code and helps keep you warm is always good. Fingerless gloves make great hand warmers, and fashionable scarfs keep your neck warm, Inspired by my own office, with heaters attempting to overload circuits, some of us religiously wear fingerless gloves and scarfs. Now as we meet in the hall we admire each others fashion for the day and keep are hands and neck warm at the same time!

Wool Scarf and Hand warmer Set

As the weather begins to cool, one thing that comes to mind is bundling up and keeping my neck & hands warm. The colors seem to bring a bright cheer to my mind. Poppy: red with a sky blue center, Heather colored scarf with lavender trim. Snuggle up at home, work, or on the road.

This set was made out of a recycled felted wool sweater. The poppy flower was needle felted out of roving wool & the center from yarn.

Scarf: 54″ long, 4″ wide
Hand Warmers: 10″ long
*note flower is only attached to right hand warmer and scarf.

Tendril Baby Head and Neck Warmer

Bundle of Love in style. This pumpkin colored hat and scarf will keep your baby warm this fall. The style was inspired by the tendril on the stem of the pumpkin. The wool is soft, tightly stitched to keep your baby warm.

Wool yarn was crocheted using an original pattern, then felted. The tendril design was attached by needle felting.

Size:
Hat – 5″ tall, 6″ diameter
Scarf – 2 1/2″ wide, 42″ long
